nellacittaI just sent this in an email to a friend, but I kinda need to shout it to the internets.
SO. BOOTH. IN LOVE.
BUTBUTBUTBUTBUT. The most amazing thing about this episode, to me, and I soooooooo hope it's a theme of the season, but.....it's as if, in the coma, because of the brain injury, for WHATEVER reason, it seems like Booth has.....lost some inhibitions, some part of him that made him hate clowns and feel the need to wear socks and belt buckles to stick it to the man. It's as if he let go of whatever part of him was resentful or had been injured in the past, and he's able to move on and FEEL LOVE. OHMYGOD.
I mean, obviously he's been in love with Brennan forever. But whatever happened to him shook something loose, and now he can feel it. (Seriously, this is like, the plot of a SGA story (or 10) staring John Sheppard. IT IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE STORIES.)
It was a little frustrating (and pretty typical for this show actually) that just at this moment, people are suddenly: "You probably don't actually love her." Which, WHAT? Sweets. Your book is based on the fact that they are totally in love. (Though in my best case scenario, this was a strategm on Sweets' part to make Booth realize that his love had begun before the brain injury. That realization = season finale? GOD, SO LONG TO WAIT, WHY??!!)
Ok, anyways, I am SO FREAKING EXCITED about a SEASON'S worth of OBVIOUS pining. OHMYGOD it's a dream come true.
