Two posts in one day, unheard of!
So, nearly a year ago I wrote this somewhat bizarre story for sga_secretsanta. The story was for
kisahawklin, who, in addition to many other amazing things, wrote this incredible story called "Variations on a Theme of John Sheppard." I won't go into details (and if you haven't read it, what are you doing here? Go! Read!), but there are lots and lots of AUs, basically. So, I thought, "Oh, an AU would be fun." And I was rereading A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle for the first time since high school or something, and it seemed like a brilliant idea.
Why not? (Oh, maybe because your recipient has never read A Wrinkle in Time? *pats self on the back*)
But anyways, having signed up for this year's SGA Secret Santa, and having finally finally finally responded to the wonderful people who took a minute to comment on my weird little story, I thought I'd post the link to it here.
Fic: The Shortest Distance between Two Points (McKay/Sheppard, R)
Pairing: John/Rodney
Rating: R
Warnings: References imprisonment, but pretty minor.
His body never forgets how it felt to be lifted into the sky on wings, made of feathers and bone and former-stars.
